WILLIE WILLIAMS TO CELEBRATE 105TH BIRTHDAY FRIDAY

Isn’t it funny? They say, “Don’t ask a woman her age”, but just
wait until she’s a celebrity! That is what Willie Williams is among
the stars of Holiday Hill Nursing Home.
The Home is so proud of Willie Williams - The Longest Living
resident at Holiday Hill. Willie will be celebrating her 105th
birthday on the 19th, with friends, family and staff at the facility
dining room.
NOTE: Her daughter Jean says “Willie Williams was born close to
Temple Texas. She worked hard, shoulder-to-shoulder with her brothers
until she married. Then she worked to help her husband. She outlived
two good men in her life and a son-in-law. Also, she does not
remember the past. She always had a smile and has lived contented at
Holiday Hill for the past ten years and will invite you to come back
to see here. She doesn’t know how to be sick. She has been in the
hospital, but always comes back with a bigger and brighter smile.”
Willie’s daughter, Jean Sneed, lives in Bryan, Texas and has two
grandsons and two great-grandsons, plus all her adopted family at
Holiday Hill Nursing Home.
Holiday Hill Staff and Family recognize Willie, not only for being
the oldest resident at Holiday Hill, but also because she is such a
delightful person! What is Willie’s secret for a long and healthy
life? “Having lots of friends, being a friend, walking every day and
taking my vitamins,” she says.
This is what her family at Holiday Hill says about her: “Willie
Williams is such a delightful and encouragement person when you see
her. She always has a smile for you with a twinkle in her eyes. She
is an inspiration to many of us here at the Home. When you come to
visit us here at the Home, you will always see Willie walking down
the halls in a perfect line with her walker and stopping by several
doors and waving at other residents or you will catch her sitting by
the commons area watching people walk by and smiling. But when she
sees babies, children and pets her whole face lights up with the
biggest smile ever.”
Willie has lived her entire life in the Coleman area and has
enjoyed the last TEN years at Holiday Hill. “Congratulations Willie -
it is an honor to be your family at Holiday Hill”.
A special day has been set aside for this wonderful person on the
19th of this month at 2:15 to celebrate a milestone of a long life.
Come one, come all and celebrate her birthday on Friday, January the
19th at 2:15 p.m. in the facility dining room, sponsored by her family.
